CLIENT NEED
The University Neighborhood High School in NYC’s Lower East Side was holding a queer prom for their students. However, they had no real means to get exciting imagery to promote their event.
SOLUTION
Photographers Ken Pao, Coleen Jose, and I worked together with the school’s GSA faculty advisor to gather students and set up both studio/curated shots as well as around school grounds. The kids had never been on a professional shoot and were somewhat reserved not to mention they had their own ideas of what it meant to be a “model”.
MY ROLE
As art director, I created various ideas and executions to create a young vibrant perspective that would get the school excited to buy tickets and attend the Queer Prom.
